High School Resources
Here's something to look forward to this fall:
HomeLink is now available in Jupiter and Lake Worth, providing classes for elementary, middle and high school homeschool students! It is an advisory group, not a school, which meets once a week Palm Beach Baptist in Lake Worth and Grace Immanuel in Jupiter.
Courses include math, science, history, and language arts, as well as electives. Each class will last 16 weeks to complete full semesters and give high school students eligibility for high school credit through NARS. Assignments will be given and are to be completed at home during the week. The program will provide support, encouragement, accountability, and training that will enhance the parent's role as parent-teacher.
The start date is August 15 in Lake Worth, the 17th in Jupiter. The cost is $36.00 per child per month. To learn more, call 533-6008 or go to www.HomeLinkEducation.org. Classes are listed under the "programs" link, details under "FAQ" and a registration form can be downloaded there as well. Anne Mejeur is the local director and welcomes your questions. You may contact her at annemejeur@bellsouth.net.
