Activities
PEC members enjoy various activities for their homeschoolers throughout the school year. These include:
- Bowling
- 2nd Friday of each month, September through May

- 1st Friday of each month, September through May
Jupiter Lanes, 350 Maplewood Drive, Jupiter (Indiantown Rd. and Maplewood Dr.), 1:00. 2 hours: $6.50 + tax (students), $7.50 + tax (adults); 1 hour: $3.75 + tax (students), $4.75 + tax (adults) (One-hour bowlers still need to show up at 1:00.)

This event is sponsored annually (typically in January) by the National Geographic Association.

- Kravis Center
The Kravis Center invites homeschoolers to select shows and order tickets. The 2005/2006 Education & Outreach Programs Guide has a list of all shows and ordering procedures on the first page. You can find the Guide on the web at www.kravis.org (go to Education and Community Outreach, then to S*T*A*R* Series) or you can get a copy of the Guide at the Kravis Center Security, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Box Office hours are from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and they can be reached at (561) 832-7469 or 1(800) 572-8471.
On Teacher Ticket Sale Day, a teacher can only order one show for her group or class. After the initial sale date, teachers may order additional shows pending availability. Teachers can order at the box office window or by phone. Tickets are priced at $4.00 per person and a free ticket for the teacher, parent, or chaperone. Additional free chaperone tickets 1 for every 15 children attending. When a home school teacher orders by phone: His/Her name is listed as teacher with his/her home phone number. Upon completing the reservation, Remind the Box Office to cover the home school organization’s address with a label and write in the teacher’s name and address.
Payment must be made at time of purchase. Payments can be made over the phone by credit card. An order confirmation notice will be mailed out. Kravis does not mail tickets for Education performances. Bring your invoice the day of the show.
- No children on laps.
- No strollers are allowed in the performance venue. The exception would be the Gosman Amphitheatre, which is an outdoor arena.
- Study guides can be downloaded from the web site.
